Then It Rained

It’s raining! YES!!! its raining in madras. Gods be blessed! Just as I was about to bang my head in frustration, I could smell the scent of the first few drops falling on the parched and over baked earth. Ah! beauty at last! feels so goood. And I would like to think of myself as the herald of rains ;) . Ooops, now that it has rained, I expect the Electrictiy Board will shut down the current for an hour to mark the solemn moment. And I better finish this off before that.

Hell. It was as hot as hell today. I go out 5 minutes, and there I am, bathing in my own salty sweat.
Somehow, AE seems to remind me, not of Aaitha ezhuth, but rather of an animated English film, called Titan, AE (Titan, After Earth). That was a nice film, BTW

True.. i hate rains in singapore.. but after a week of almost dying from the heat, rain is the best present you can expect in madras :)

Hmm, well in India its a nice feeling when it rains. I also like it very much. ;) But currently I live in europe, and it rains almost every other day. So I almost forgot the feel of RAIN. Hopefully, it rains when I visit “India” later this year.
