Nice one although I dont know about the cola. I’m pretty sure it has much to do with the fact that curves look cooler than edges. Otherwise 2 liter soda bottles would be square and companies wouldnt waste any money on bottle design. Also, the car one is confusing cause and effect. Since obviously cars came first, gas stations wouldnt have had pumps on both sides if cars always had one intake side. In fact left side intake cars outnumber right side ones which wouldnt be the case if car designers thought much about gas station pump alignment!
